After some banter between Uta and Makoto, they plan challenges and team-ups in cooperation with the other girls, trying to come up with some basic once before they agree to some of the more unique options the girls bring forward.
Since Yumi and Io have no interest in competing and can’t be convinced by the girls to do so, Uta and Makoto agree to write both down for a “wallflower cooperation contest” – Whoever participates in the activities in any way first will be the winner.
Makoto suggests a test of knowledge, and while Molly assumes this will be her contest, Nodoka volunteers and is picked as the obvious choice.
Their next suggestion for a basic contest is a test of courage with Maya and Tsuneyo as participants. Maya wonders how this is supposed to work with Sensei as a judge, but with a clear winner, they don’t need his decision. Uta is glad Maya competes in such a contest since Sensei would favor her otherwise, something Maya tries to refute.
Surprisingly, Yasu wants to participate as well despite her low confidence and lack of skill, but Uta already has a perfect challenge for her and Sana in mind. Sana is shocked to learn she has to compete as well, and while Rin tries to calm her down, her compassion turns into excitement when the contest turns out to be a gothic lolita fashion show as the grand finale.
With Sensei being the only judge, Otoha questions the objectivity of the verdicts, and, agreeing with her concern, the girls decide to include another contest with a clear winner in form of a friend zone battle with Otoha and Rin as contestants.
Ayane challenges Uta to a rap contest, something they wanted to do outside of this but might as well do as an official competition now.
Seeing that private battles can be included, Molly challenges Futaba to a Dungeons & Dragons duel to finally determine if her character can beat Sana’s character one-on-one, and Futaba, having made the claim that her Molly's character can't, accepts.
Chika asks Touka if she’s okay due to her silence, but she only struggles to understand what’s going on. Chika has an idea for a contest and, after confirming Touka has no feelings for Sensei, suggests a date contest between them, even allowing spectators to ensure nothing inappropriate happens. Makoto tries to reject her idea, but when Chika remembers seeing her coming out of an inappropriate shop, she’s forced to include it.
Only Ami and Noriko are left, and Noriko suggests an "imouto war", which Ami accepts albeit with a surprising level of aggressiveness.
