In class, Ayane and Uta propose a competition between the first floor and second floor of the dorms, as a "bonding exercise". Makoto drops her objections when she is named captain of the first floor team, while Uta will be captain of the second floor team. Sensei is announced as the prize — whichever floor wins will get to keep him in their room for the upcoming beach trip. He will also be the judge of some of the competitions.
