Synopsis
Nao-chan appears at the party, with most being confused on how she got there while also admiring her cuteness. Chika, tries to adopt her again, but Nao refuses and instead looks into Sensei's direction. When their gazes meet, Sensei assumes both are equally afraid of the other. Nao opens her mouth, which forces Sensei to approach her, with Ayane accompanying him, and see what she wants from him.
Nao asks Sensei to accompany her since there seems to be something going on that involves Kaori and requires his presence. Sensei isn't sure if he wants to, because he's waiting for Ami to arrive, so Chika and Ayane volunteer to accompany her instead, but Nao makes it clear only Sensei can come with her. Sensei agrees to follow her, though Ayane doesn't want him to go due to how weird this is and the uncertainty of when the next reset occurs, but Sensei assures her he will call her when something happens. While following her, he acknowledges how weird this is, only to be greeted by Pareidolia and have the usual argument with them.
After shutting them up again, Sensei follows Nao, who guides him to John, who acts as their ride to their destination. While riding on his back, Sensei notices how he hasn't been able to communicate with the birds for some time now, making him wonder if he lost that ability at some point, and wonders why he can't understand Nao and who of them is more dangerous.
After a while, he asks if she brought him away from the party because there's actually something happening to Kaori or if she came to prevent another tragedy. He doesn't get a clear answer, and when his thoughts get too dark again, he decides to shut up and wait until they arrive at their destination.
