While searching for Nao-chan, Sensei ponders over special eyes until he stumbles across a weird room.
Inside, he meets Floral Laura, God of the Hedgemaze. He wonders if she's another entity who need his assistance, but she negates this, stating she wants to live in solitude and take care of her garden. She also gives him some advice for his own garden, but Sensei doesn't feel like he's in control of his as he has to fight a misguided moral compass and has trouble handling it properly. Flora can't help him with this, as she only cares about her own garden, and when Sensei states the same, she claims that's the answer to his dilemma.
With this, she decides to water her corpseflower, wondering why so many waste time and water on flowers who can drink on their own, though Sensei claims that most flowers could drink on their own if people like her would just let them stay outside. Flora claims she's special because of this and how Sensei is like a potted plant who's kept inside. Hearing this, he states that he's feeling unmotivated lately, and when Flora assumes he forgot to water one of his plants, which he answers with silence, and states that this makes him special like her. Before she leaves, she gives him a conundrum to think about – What will he do when a flower winds up in his garden that isn't meant to be there?
We return to Sensei searching for Nao-chan in the woods. He is unsettled by the wilderness, afraid of finding something he's not ready for.
He finally finds Nao staring at a large structure with a staircase leading inside. Above the stairs is written: "Salvation lies within." User 2 briefly attempts to connect, causing the world to go haywire – Nao and Sensei briefly vanish and reappear multiple times, something warns them to not open the door, before another says to open it, and the time changes repeatedly between day and night.
Once things go back to normal, Sensei notes that they found something that neither of them was meant to find and wonders what they should do now that they have. Both decide to approach the door, and while Nao-chan grabs Sensei for a moment, as if trying to stop him, they both end up ascending the staircase.
The two enter a room full of strange people talking amongst themselves. A notebook is open to a page titled "T-84" with what seems to be research notes. Sensei speaks for a moment, causing all the people to stop, face the both, and surround them.
