Synopsis

Back at the third Halloween party, Ayane tries desperately to remind Sensei what happened to them, but since this Sensei is from this timeline and seemingly unaware of the reset, he has no clue what she's talking about and agrees with Imani and Ami that she's suffering from delusions caused by exhaustion. As the realization settles in that she's alone in the past, Ayane snaps, and her torment is increased when she also realizes this Sensei might not love her. At this point, Maya, who seems to be a past version of the original one, walks over and tells Ayane to follow her outside to prevent her from saying anything more, much to the confusion of Ami and Sensei.

Outside, Maya wants an explanation, and during the following conversation, Ayane reveals all relevant information from her timeline, including her knowledge about Maya's feelings for Sensei, which she tries to deny at first, who's aware in her timeline, which gives Maya some hope for herself when it includes Sensei, and how she was sent back during her last reset. Maya finds the latter hard to believe and wants to know what she did for it to happen, and Ayane tells her she gave in to her desires, though she only saw the aftermath of it.

Maya is infuriated by her counterpart's lack of self-control and what it did to Sensei, but she takes solace in the fact that there is a way to get him back. Ayane asks if every Sensei they meet isn't the same at different points in time, but Maya explains that the girls only perceive him as the same, when he's in reality someone different every time, with this one being only interested in Ami and football, with Ayane being surprised by this.

Ayane confesses she's glad to have her back, even if both versions of Maya don't appreciate her being involved. Maya reminds her how being involved in this mess is the worst thing that could've happened to her, but Ayane doesn't regret it as it makes her love Sensei even more. Maya wonders if this is her admitting she's close with the Sensei from her timeline, but when Ayane falls silent, she quickly realizes that every girl is.

Ayane thinks they should figure out how to get her back to her own timeline, feeling that this is some sort of puzzle she has to overcome, but Maya tells her getting her hopes up is the worst thing she could do in their situation, especially since she can't feel a reset coming up, which might be the only way for her to get back. Ayane wonders what they can do until then, and Maya asks her if she likes football.
