Synopsis
Rin is back at the dorms in her room. The Narrator talks about her state of mind. About her feelings for Sensei and how she tries to drown them out with other things, lest they get too overwhelming but to no avail. She thinks about various things but it's not enough. At some point the Narrator speaks to Rin as if talking to her even though that's not the case. In tries to show how Rin truly feels, she is mocked and reminded of Sensei again and again. She wonders about what would happen if Sensei showed up. She ponders on how and tries to send him a proper message.
At the Dive Bar, where Sensei, Imani, Wakana, Osako and Rika are, Rika talks to Sensei and Imani, who are about to leave. Suddenly, Sensei's phone, which he forgets at the bar, suddenly vibrates with a ton of messages so that it cathes Rika's attention. In an attempt to pick it up to give it back to Sensei, she notices messages from a contact named Rin and proceeds to think it's a coincedence. She opens the messages to respond but is met with a shocking revelation. Rin receives a message from Sensei, saying that he is on his way.
After a while at the dorms, Rin responds to a knock on the door, only to find that it is her mom. Rika tries to get the truth out of Rin, but Rin tries to talk her way out of it. This goes on for a minute until Rika confronts her with the content of the messages she sent to Sensei. Having no way out, Rin admits what she is trying to do and comes clean with her feelings for Sensei. Rika emphasizes that this is bad on more than one level and that it could get them both in trouble. Rin apologizes and assures that Sensei had no part in this. No longer able to keep it up, she tears up and says that she is too confused and that nothing is helping.
Suddenly, the door opens with Chika coming in, saying she heard screaming and thought to check on Rin.
