As an unknown narrator wonders how effective Yasu's plea for friendship will be, both in terms of if the other girls are able to consider her as a friend and Yasu being able to acknowledge that she has people around her who may care about her, the Sports Day continues and the next competition starts.
Imani stands next to the participants, Futaba and Otoha, and explains the rules of the scavenger hunt. After stalling for a bit, she tells them that she got ideas for items to search from the audience and, after improving all the inappropriate ones, organized the items with financial support from Touka, meaning the items they have to find can be literally anything. They also can't discard the cards they draw, meaning if they get something that's hard to find, they have to bite the bullet and try to get it anyway. The winner is who can find three items and bring them to the circle first.
Imani blows her whistle to start the contest, which also startles Miku, and Futaba and Otoha get started. Otoha tries to sabotage Futaba for a while by preventing her form getting the card she wants, but she abandons that tactic quickly, though the card Futaba picked seems to name something hard to find by pure coincidence. While both girls try to find their respective item, the girls form the first floor are wondering what kind of items they might have to find, with Rin worrying they might have to kill each other, though Yumi thinks she would be more willing to murder someone given her skull collection, but Rin claims they're just decorations.
After a while, both girls return with their items. Otoha brought Molly as she had to find "something white" and felt she could use being treated like princess, which makes Molly develop a crush on her, and Futaba had to find a sword.
The second round begins, and this time Otoha seems to be the unlucky one and runs off somewhere, with the girls form the second floor encouraging her to win. Uta wonders what she got, and while Touka has an idea, she keeps it to herself. Molly returns with an increased body temperature, and the others explain she's another victim of the "Otoha Effect", i.e. she developed a permanent crush on her. Touka is still surprised that so many of them mistook her for a boy at their old school, but Uta clarifies they never did and most of them are attracted to her due to them being bisexual. They ask Touka if she really feels no attraction to other girls, and while Touka can admit when a girl is attractive on an objective level, naming Tsuneyo as the most prominent example, she doesn't feel any attraction towards girls she perceives as such.
Futaba and Otoha return, and Futaba had to bring flowers this time, whereas Otoha had to find a forklift. Wakana arrives at that moment to check on them and is surprised to see how much chaos Imani is causing due to her loneliness.
The last round begins, and Otoha has fallen behind Futaba as she had to park the forklift somewhere, while Futaba has already picked a card and wants Imani as her item of choice, who is willing to be one as long as she hasn't to find "something black". Otoha already accepts her loss, but Imani reminds her that she needs to match what's written on the card, only for Futaba to reveal she had to find "something beautiful". Most of the girls agree with Futaba's choice and show their appreciation for Imani, with her getting embarrassed and declaring Futaba as the winner.
