Background
Chika lives in room 1 with Yumi, but often goes to the old neighborhood to take care of her younger sister Chinami. On weekends she works at the mall.
Characteristics
Chika is very popular among the girls in the class. Unlike some, she has no problem flirting with Sensei. However, due to her unfortunate family background, she has a huge responsibility on her shoulders for both Chinami and Yumi, making her much more mature and responsible than other girls her age. She likes K-pop and is a big fan of Sensei's ex-girlfriend Niki Nakayama.
Relationships
Sensei
Chika quickly falls in love with Sensei and flirts with him at every opportunity. However, she trusts him enough to introduce him to her sister and tries to mend the relationship between Sensei and Yumi.
Chinami
Chinami has an autoimmune disorder, which poses a great challenge for Chika in caring for her. She tries to find ways to keep Chinami out of the house for days, so Sensei meets her at a shopping mall wearing a dog mask. At certain points, however, Chinami's remarks about her feelings for Sensei can be quite exhausting for her, as can Chinami's constant talking about herself in the third person.
Yumi
Chika protects Yumi as her sister so that she doesn't get into trouble, which Yumi has all the potential to do because of her family background. Although they get on each other's nerves from time to time, Chika is the only one Yumi trusts and spends time with.
Rin
Chika never reciprocates Rin's platonic love, but when Rin has a mental breakdown after confessing her feelings, Chika helps her get back on her feet and overcome her disappointment.
