"Mortal Coil (Gay Stuff)" is an Event for Ayane Amamiya.

In Sensei's office, Ayane talks with Makoto about the meeting's purpose and Miku comes up, which leads Ayane to inquire about what happened to her during her encounter with Sensei the other day. Makoto changes the topic and comes to ask about why Yumi wasn't included in the meeting. Saying that Yumi does not want to be included. to which Makoto expresses the same wish. Regardless, she's asked about a plan. She expresses that she doesn't have one, but Ayane conitinues to ask about it hypothetically while mentioning that she wasn't able to think about one at all recently.
After talking back and forth, Makoto says that they should start by including Yumi more regardless of whether she likes it or not. They talk about Yumi, how she seems off recently with how much she shows up to school and her participating in events. Makoto assumes that she might have resigned herself, but Ayane says it's something more like sadness and that there is no progress to be made with her being like this. Makoto makes the argument that it is better to let the stuff happen on its own and that it's pointless to challenge whatever power that is enabling this. Reluctant to agree, Ayane talks about how Maya would've done things, that she misses her and that they had formed a special bond.
The talk shifts to be about Maya. How weird she is acting lately, especially around Ami. Ayane mentions that something weird is going on. Whenever both are together, they seem to be hiding something; something that they don't want Ayane to know. Whenever she asks Ami, she gets gaslit into believing that everything is fine. Makoto advises to steer clear from Ami, as it is easier to go probe Maya for answers. She asks Ayane about wether Ami would want to hurt her, but Ayane assures her it is not the case, because she was told so by her "gaurdian angel".
While talking, Imani, wanting to grade some papers, comes into the office and sees Ayane and Makoto sitting really close to each other and tells them to not do stuff at school. Ayane responds that they aren't a thing and that they have a meeting, though Imani's still skeptical about it. After some talk, Imani says she needs to use the desk to grade the papers and the girls leave.
