CHAIN-LINK EVENT

Sensei is woken up by Maya in a familiar way, and Sensei quickly realizes that Pareidolia is once again messing with him. He refuses their request to take Ami with him and tries to go back to sleep to ignore their other ways to mess with him, but they suddenly skip time forward to the moment he's at the beach to prevent any monologues about the ocean.
After some more banter with Pareidolia, Sensei decides to ignore them and asks Ayane if they appeared suddenly at the beach similar to their third beach trip, but she negates this and clarifies that they came here normaly, though Sensei was saying weird things along the way, including mistaking her for Maya. She also tells him that Ami gets taken care of by Niki and that he doesn't need to worry about her.
They then meet their liaison, which includes Touka, who's a bit suspicious of his plans for the day, and Yasu, who tries to encourage him in her own unique way. Sensei reminds Ayane that he wanted to keep a low profile, but Ayane assures him that everyone is aware about this and that he can freely decide to spend time with whoever he wants until the evening, and Touka organized the room distribution in a way that all the girls are as far way from his room as possible. With this, Ayane goes to prepare for the slumber party.
Once she's gone, Sensei asks Touka if Ayane caused her any trouble and fears that she's working herself too hard again, and Touka negates the former and can confirm the latter, though notes how Ayane attempts to hide it. Sensei thanks her for her support, and while he promises to meet her later to compensate her, she makes herself no illusion that he actually will. Suddenly, Yasu reveals that she can read Sensei's mind, and when he tries to verify it, she guesses that it's something rude about Touka. This prompts Sensei to leave the two of them and make his way over to the inn.
On the way, he runs into Imani and Chika. After telling them he still wants to keep his distance from everyone, Chika gets very emotional and runs away and while Imani shows concern about it, he tells her to let him handle this. Moving on from this, she tries to make plans with him for the night, but he shoots her down, much to her dismay, and she also wonders if his appearance at the beach means he and Ami will return to school soon, but he can't make any promises yet. He tells her that they're starting to get there and asks for a bit more time, which she gladly intends to give them.
Sensei then tries to leave, but ends up running into Noriko and Kirin. While Noriko is very excited to meet him, Kirin isn't interested and leaves immediately. Noriko wonders if anything happened between them, and he reveals their confrontation in the karaoke booth. He then wants to know if she will attend the slumber party, but Noriko tries to get more information out of him about what that party will be about, though she falls silent when Sensei tells her he wants her there, and she promises to attend and listen closely.
While looking for his room with Noriko, Sensei thinks that while he knew he would meet some of the other girls here, Kirin and Chika are two girls he doesn't want to see, because both would forgive him for his misdeeds if he did, and he feels it would be better for them if they stay mad at him for a bit longer.
