"The World, Alive (Ant Farm)" is an Event for Makoto Miyamura.

This Event takes place in the following locations:
Sensei is wandering around the neighborhood alone thinking about what happened during the recent beach bonding trip and its aftermath. He thinks about his shadow and the similarities they share, before Makoto calls him and pulls him away from his thinking. Makoto asks Sensei if he's free to go get coffee with her and after bantering for a while, he agrees and they meet up at the park.
While on their way to Koi Cafe, Makoto explains the purpose of her calling him and states that she is coming up with ideas to tackle time shenanigans. She mentions considering to try and stay away from the rooftop as a change and maybe try a sleepover at the upcoming beach trip with the class. She also suggests doing the stuff she talks about with Maya especially, seeing that Maya was the special one when it comes to resets and sensing them. Sensei questions whether Makoto's plan is to sacrifice Maya or not and she responds with that they have nothing to lose.
They eventually reach Koi Cafe and as they go to order the coffee, Rin talks with them about being included in this date but Makoto refuses. After getting coffee they go sit down by the window.
Makoto then begins explaining her plan more. She plans on shaking things up and doing unexpected things that might "force" a reset. Maybe also try doing something with her mother, as in saying they did something big and see if she gets to keep her memories of said thing after a reset. She compares this world to an ant farm, in that if the ants sit still and live their lives peacefully the owner of the farm would get bored and discard said farm. Makoto says that the resets are comparable to the example of the owner of an ant farm shaking it up to try and get the ants going.
Sensei is confused and thinks Makoto is trying a bit too hard to figure things out, but Makoto says that she's merely doing this on the behest of Ayane, as she would rather be indifferent to all of this. Sensei insists on that there must be a different, somewhat more comfortable thing they can do and Makoto wonders about that.
