This Event takes place in the following locations:
At the volleyball field, Molly decides to teach Yasu, though not about the game they're playing but how to adapt to social events. Her advice is to make up a new version of the game instead and smashes the ball into Futaba's direction, who can't evade it and is killed by the impact.
Now "reborn", she opens her eyes and finds herself in an upside-down classroom. She first assumes that she was just knocked unconscious and is experiencing a weird dream, when suddenly a voice speaks to her and recites a poem before the PA system activates and asks Futaba to go to the library so she can attend the Transpacific Sadness Symposium. The voice also advises her not to speak to the ghosts she will meet on her way and to find her egg, though when she wants an explanation, the PA doesn't answer and instead creepy noises occur and another disembodied voice speaks riddles to her.
Futaba makes her way to the library, but she breaks several rules along the way, and, as punishment, parts of her being are removed and each of them grows into a better version of Futaba. Those versions taunt her before they disappear, and while the real Futaba thinks she needs therapy after this, she notices someone.
She speaks to the strange being, with the narrator explaining that she broke another rule by speaking to the unspoken, but they don't respond at first. When they do, it startles her, but she isn't scared of them since they're the only being that is acting nice to her. This confuses the unspoken, as they were locked inside the library for having big hands and being a burden because of them, but Futaba likes their big hands and assures them that being a bit different is nothing bad, though she can't say the same about herself.
The unspoken wants to know what makes her world special, and Futaba tells them that the people she feels close with doe that, but when she looks back at them, she now sees a younger version of herself who wants to experience love but can't due to their big hands making them unable to leave or fit in. Futaba approaches the unspoken and wants to take them with her, but they refuse out of fear of scaring the others and don't believe that there's a place for them. The unspoken wonders why she's so nice to them, and Futaba explains that most people she knows are nice to her and, therefore, she wants to be nice to them to repay it. The unspoken tells her that she shouldn't since the other beings will hurt her.
Suddenly, 61 6d 20 69 20 6f 6b 61 79 calls out to Futaba and tells her that she shouldn't be here, but before Futaba can explain how she got here, she's sent back.
