Synopsis
While Uta and Kirin are standing on the side, an unknown narrator contemplates on how being complacent in a known environment might be better than trying to find a better place in the unknown, similar to how they are complacent in the world they've created, though when the two girls start talking, they doubt they really created it. Uta and Kirin have a bit of an awkward time together due to both being unfamiliar with each other, but end up bonding over how they pretend to be happier than they actually are.
Meanwhile, Ayane has gathered all participants of the last slumber party to plan the next one. Yumi wonders why she wants to have another one when the first one was basically a failure, and while Ayane admits it didn't gave them any new information, they still managed to recruit her, so it's a minor success. Therefore, she wants to go all out this time and invite everyone in their class to the next one.
Sensei asks why they didn't do that right away, and Makoto assumes Ayane is more interested in the slumber parties, and so anything regarding the reset is made up on the spot, but Ayane insists she's invested in both. Makoto suggests to announce it right now, then, but the girls don't want to interrupt the band, plus Ami and Maya aren't here yet, though Sensei feels they should exclude them. Noriko asks Sana if she managed to hear what they were saying, since she's unable to understand a single word, but Sana was too occupied with Noriko holding Sensei's arm.
While the group tries to determine where they want to hold the next slumber party, which is interrupted when they have to deal with Sana being stuck on repeat and Noriko's poor hearing, the unknown narrator appears again and makes everything disappear as they ponder on human existence.
When things return to normal, we're back at the beginning of the meeting, but before it can start again, a sudden cry of excitement from Chika catches their attention.
