Synopsis
Kirin and Noriko discuss how attractive each other’s sisters are, during which Imani joins them and agrees. As they talk, Kirin accidentally lets it slip that Sensei used to date Niki, which surprises Imani as the rest of them can’t possibly compete with a pop idol. Realizing she’s said too much, Imani tries to backpedal. The two try to pry her for details but she dismisses her feelings as nothing more than daydreams as both she nor Sensei seem good at romance.
Ami bursts into the room with Sensei, having been late due to passing out in the sauna. Sensei finds his way over to Ayane, Sana, and Miku, who he’s happy to see after being forced to spend the whole day with Ami. He ends up embarrassing Sana by subtly referring to Io’s run-in with her, making her retreat into another room. Ayane quickly reads the situation and asks him why he embarrassed her like that. He responds that she should remember her place as the innocent one in the class.
Rin ends up interrupting them, dragging Sensei out with her into the hallway so she can tell him something. She struggles at first to find the words to say, stalling by talking in circles until Sensei asks her to calm down. Struggling to do even that, she outright admits that she accidentally told Otoha about Chika and his relationship. She bursts into tears, frantically apologizing and trying to explain herself. He reassures her that everything will be okay and that he’ll figure out a way to make Otoha keep the secret, which worries Rin as she overreacts. She tells Sensei that if he breaks things off with Futaba, he might be able to at least keep Chika from being hurt, but he tells her he won’t talk to her about this. She understands, starting to frantically apologize again while telling him to make sure to keep those he loves close.
As she starts to ramble, he brings her into a hug, shutting her up by telling her he’s following her advice. The two stay in the hallway as Rin cries into his shirt.
