At the inn, Makoto tries to brief Sensei on what the weekend will entail, with occasional interjections from Noriko, Miku, and Uta. As previously agreed, Sensei will be spending at least one night with the winners of the dorm war. Makoto has drawn up various rules for everyone to follow, but Uta suggests that a more relaxed approach will have better results, Makoto accepts her argument. To Sensei' surprise, there is a second "chaperone" for the visit — Wakana is going to be present. Nodoka immediately wants to know where she is, and while she is conducting her search, Otoha asks to talk to Sensei about something.
