Sensei and Sana return, and Rika wants to inspect both of them for signs of mischief, though Sana quickly flees and Sensei has nothing suspicious on him – Though not because nothing happened but because Rika was looking for the wrong signs.

Synopsis

At Sakaki-bar-a, Sensei, Imani and Rika enjoy some beers while Sana is working alone behind the counter. They wonder where Yuki is, but Sana has no clue since she was supposed to work tonight and hasn't shown up for some reason, though this is the first time she missed her shift.

Rika laments her absence and how painful breakups are, with her pointing out how every lesbian couple they know is facing this hardship lately, with Rin and Otoha having already gone through it, whereas Wakana and Osako might slowly moving towards it. Sensei isn't too worried about Rin due to how well she handles her breakup, but Imani wants to know what Rika thinks might happen between Wakana and Osako. Rika feels like they will work things out, but she can only make that assumption based on her unreliable gut feeling, because she doesn't know what happened between them and is only capable of feeling the negative tension between them. The only silver lining she sees in this entire mess is the fact that Sensei and Imani are finally getting closer, a statement that is answered by the sound of broken glass.

Sana, who was blindsided by that info and isn't taking it very well, dropped a wine glass she cleaned and retreats into the backroom to mend a wound, asking Sensei to accompany her. After they're gone, Rika wonders if anything is going on between them due to how weird Sana's reaction was, though Imani doesn't know and couldn't do much if there is since she and Sensei aren't dating. Rika makes her hope due to how long their night together lasted and, after a bit of silence and euphoric screaming, she wants more details. Imani tells her about their personal talk and the night in their room, which makes Rika cry tears of joy since she's glad Imani finally managed to get closer with Sensei and also manged it before Wakana did.

Imani fails to see why Wakana would do that when she's dating Osako for years now, but Rika still feels like there's some tension between them and it's pretty obvious to all of them, even assuming that Osako noticed it and how it resulted in their strained relationship. Imani thinks her assumption is a bit far-fetched, and Rika can agree with her reasoning and moves on, claiming she's winning when it comes to Sensei. Imani doesn't see getting close with Sensei as a competition, but when Rika manages to convince her it is, she feels like she's losing since she witnessed one person being way more intimate with him, though can't go into details for legal reasons. This is only more reason for Rika to encourage her to give it her all and not let other girls get to him first, like Sana currently might be.

Both realize that she and Sensei have been away for a suspicious amount of time. Imani wonders if they should check on them, but Rika would rather talk more about their love life, though if she can't convert her neighbor, the only option she has left is a shared relationship with Imani and Sensei, which would ruin the dynamic in their friend group. Imani asks if it would really cause issues, and Rika soon realizes that something happened while Wakana and Osako were around, and reprimands Imani for not including her. Sensei and Sana return, and Rika wants to inspect both of them for signs of mischief, though Sana quickly flees and Sensei has nothing suspicious on him – Though not because nothing happened but because Rika was looking for the wrong signs.

The group leaves shortly after.
