After suddenly being teleported to the beach, Ayane, Maya, and Sensei group up behind the bathroom stalls and discuss what just happened. Sensei quickly suggests a reset, but Maya dismisses the idea, reminding him she’s able to sense when they’ll happen. Ayane tells Maya that the should try and enjoy the situation, since they’re unlikely to suddenly figure everything out. Maya’s forced to agree when Sensei joins in, him and Ayane reminding her they’re not even sure what point in time they’re at. As they get ready to split up, Maya sporadically invites Sensei on a date the upcoming evening, to which he agrees despite him and Ayane being shocked.
Unbeknownst to the three of them, Yasu is eavesdropping on the conversation just around the corner. Touka quickly finds her, with Yasu telling her that she had drawn into the shade after remembering ‘the way water slides off (her) skin”, and apologizing for misbehaving.
