This Event takes place in the following locations:
Having woken up earlier than usual, Sensei decides to go out and get some coffee, only to see that Koi Cafe is closed. Since Haruka and Rin are inside, he enters the cafe where Rin is trying to encourage a depressed Haruka. He asks what's going on, and Rin tells him that someone filed a false complaint about public indecency in the cafe, but quickly realizes it's true and how Sensei was the cause of it, reprimanding both him and Haruka for their carelessness and endangering her job when she just got promoted.
Since he genuinely wants to help, Sensei grabs a chair and joins the girls at their table. Rin wants to know why they even ended up doing it inside the cafe in the first place instead of taking any of the more reasonable options, and they explain the dynamic they have, only for Rin to ask for a demonstration, though Sensei discourages behavior that adds to their current issue. Rin promises to help her, but when Sensei points out how having a high school student help her with an accusation of public indecency isn't the best idea, Haruka rejects her offer and asks her to inform the other girls that the cafe will be closed for a while due to renovations.
After Rin goes to the office, Sensei and Haruka discuss their dynamic and that evening before he wants to know what's going to happen next in regards to the complaint. Haruka tells him that someone will come to investigate the issue, but she doesn't know what that means in detail, only that they will collect surveillance footage from her and any adjacent store, and while her surveillance system was offline that evening, she has no idea if any of the other stores have footage of that night and, if they do, how she could ask them to delete it. Sensei offers to deal with it to save her the humiliation, but being humiliated is the least of her worries as losing her shop will be a devastating loss on a financial and personal level.
After the conversation takes a turn, Haruka worries what might happen next, but Sensei isn't worried because, since there's technically only one witness, the accusation won't hold up if the other stores don't have footage of that night, meaning it would be his words against hers, which will most likely result in the man's complaint being rejected and she could probably sue for defamation. While Haruka hopes for this outcome, she also would prefer the negative results that word of mouth about this incident would bring.
Both talk for a while longer until Haruka decides to close the cafe to speak with the owners of the stores around her and to stick with the renovation story until the case is over, and Sensei leaves with his favorite barista in tow.
