| synopsis = On the last night of the camping trip, [[Sensei]] finds himself wondering how things would be without him, and how he feels like something is missing, despite his accomplishments. He thinks about [[Ami]], how it hasn't yet set in that she is his daughter now, as well as how cute she is. Despite his initial apprehension, Sensei finds himself enjoying camping and would like to do it again. <br><br>
As [[Maki]] drives the group home, Sensei remarks to himself about how he doesn't know what to do with [[Niki]]'s [[The Clod and the Pebble|proposal]] and how he needs to talk it over with Ami. Maki drops off the Arakawas, who [[Sara]] decides to follow. Ami thanks Sara for the haircut. Sara, in turn, invites Ami to hang out with Sana and her, which she declines, as she already has plans with [[Maya]].

Maya's name causes Sensei to freeze for a moment. Sara continues trying to win Ami over, but the girl leaves Sara and Sensei alone, deciding to warm up a bath. The two of them talk about the mistakes they have made raising their girls and how being a perfect parent isn't possible.
As Sara is about to leave, Sensei stops and thanks her for all the help, telling her she is welcome at any time. This causes a noticeable change in Sara, which Sensei picks up on. She tells him he shouldn't have said that and the she would never leave. At least not without the Arakawas.
Sara talks about the possibily of both their families moving in and living together in the future. Ami, speaks up, having been listening for an unknown amount of time. Sara makes her offer to Ami, and Sensei tells his new daughter they will need to have a talk soon.
