He eventually tells Yumi to slap him if he keeps zoning out. Yumi is reluctant to begin, so briefly talk about [[Yuki|Yumi's mother]], her new job, and Yumi's lack of interest in reconnecting. Yumi then tells Sensei that she [[Clouds|saw him]] with [[Kaori]]. Yumi thinks Kaori might be her cousin, except that she was fairly sure her cousin died in an accident. Sensei says that Kaori has mentioned being in hospital, but also says that Kaori's eccentricity might make her a different person now from when Yumi knew her. He asks if Yumi wants to meet Kaori — she declines, saying that it would just be weird. Yumi suddenly isn't there. | |||
