Synopsis

Sensei and Miku arrive at the "promised land", also known as the Miyamura family's shop. Sensei tries immediately to make her more familiar with his interests, but Miku's inexperience makes this a bit difficult for him.

Maki overhears their conversation and tries to help, but a product she's carrying and her explanations about it intimidate Miku and she decides to see what Makoto's doing. With her gone, Maki instead focuses on Sensei and his disappearance, having heard from Sara that he came back recently and wanting to know if she can do anything to help him, but Sensei insists he just needs time.

He also tells her why they came to the shop, and Maki is proud to hear that Miku is finally catching up and how she might need her guidance soon. She informs him that Makoto's potential boyfriend is either gone or Makoto got better in hiding him, something she sees as a plus. A shell-shocked Miku returns and asks Sensei to leave, not being interested in being educated anymore, and Maki is able to deduce what she saw. Miku leaves shortly after, and Sensei follows her.

Walking around outside, Sensei wonders what they should do now, and while Miku doesn't know yet, she wants to spend more time with him since spending time with him has become a rare occurrence now that he isn't coming to school or the dorms anymore, with Sensei assuring this will happen again once he's feeling better. Miku uses them being alone to hold hands, with Sensei noting that he likes it whenever she acts cute like this, but they have to separate when a familiar voice calls out to them.

Karin approaches them and reveals she could vaguely see both of them holding hands, but Miku and Sensei manage to convince her it was just her seeing it wrong. Miku wonders what Karin is doing here, and she explains that she spend time with her friends from the softball team and took the long road home. She is a bit surprised to see Miku this late, feeling that it would be dangerous for her to be outside at night, but Miku points out how she has Sensei to keep her safe, whereas Karin being alone makes her more susceptible for ambushes.

Miku decides they should spend some time together, ignoring Karin's protests, and suggests all of them should do some karaoke to test her progress in regards to loud noises. Due to personal reasons, Sensei tries to reject her offer, but he is forced to come with them.
