Synopsis
Fully sentient once again, and back at his home, an onslaught of emotions rushes into Sensei at once and he takes a moment to pull himself together.
He arrives at the rooftop, aware that the plan has failed, but somewhat content with the fact that he and the others will be okay. Spotting him, Ayane bursts into tears and both girls rush up to him. Unbeknownst to him, they've been sitting around waiting for him to show up for an entire week. He apologizes as Maya fills him in on what he's missed - Unfortunately, both Yumi and Tsuneyo don't appear to have made it to the apocalypse, but they at least learned that it's possible to inform people about it.
Still deeply shaken up about his prolonged absence, Ayane's hesitant to accept he's really him, not helped by Maya's complete lack of emotional response. Still clinging to her theory, Maya and Ayane begin to argue about the uncertainty surrounding this next reset, with Sensei having to put his foot down and end the discussion so they can begin. Saying some final words, the three hug and the reset begins.
Back in Kumon-mi properly, the three see all of them have made it. Ayane immediately tackles Sensei in joy, to the chagrin of Maya and the reluctance of Sensei. After some prying from the two of them, Ayane promises to hold herself back till school is over but demands Sensei come to see her the moment the bell rings. She heads to class while Maya takes a moment to berate Sensei like always.
The two hug before heading back to class themselves.
