She is planning to confess her feelings to [[Chika]], but has already decided that she will be rejected, and that Chika is interested in someone else. Rin says that people can't help who they fall in love with, and that maybe this is "what needs to happen" for Rin to move on. Sensei brings up [[The Dark Entity|Molly's concerns]] about Rin hurting herself, but Rin promises that she hasn't been doing that since [[Delirium|last time]], and that Molly just saw some old scars. However, she still predicts that she will "shut down" for a bit after her talk with Chika, and asks if she can sleep in Sensei's room overnight. She also asks Sensei if anything has happened between him and Chika — if he has [[Schadenfreude|gone further]] than just [[Side Event|a kiss]], Rin is hurt.
