Synopsis

Sensei and Maki have been driving through the town, while he pondered about the friends he has and how helpful they are to him. Continuing the talk Maki has started back in the porn shop, she tried to make Sensei open up, with the use of metaphor. Thus, the drive has emerged many distant memories.

Maki decided to give Sensei a break and stopped. After which, Akira's memories flowed him even stronger. The two started discussing the surprising life in isolation they have inside Kumon-Mi. But suddenly, Akira has got seemingly depressed under the weight of his past. And he finally answered the question Maki had earlier and expressed all his feelings about Sekai.

He confessed that now he is just a monstrosity, a shell of a man he once was when Sekai was still alive. Maki tried her best to allay his self-loathing, but then realized: he is lost in life, but she could at least attempt to help Akira, just like he helped with Makoto.
