Synopsis

At school, Makoto is trying to explain a mathematical point to Ami, who isn't getting it. The two start to argue, both about the importance of mathematics and about which of them Sensei likes better. Sensei gets reluctantly dragged into it. They eventually agree to take a break, but their mutual resentment of each other's interest in Sensei makes it hard for them to get along.
