Sensei wakes up without Ami's prompting, and finds that she has suddenly fallen ill. Sensei says that he'll stay home and look after her. While doing so, Sensei thinks about his relationship with Ami, and how he really does feel like her guardian even though he recently woke up in this life. Ami asks Sensei to lie with her on the couch, and says that she loves him.
