Once they are seated and got their tea and sweets, Ami explains that she did her research and that pretending to be a couple could have worked. When he asks her if she has certain feelings for him, she dodges the question. She instead thanks him for buying her all of these sweets on this unimportant day. After some smalltalk about parfaits and how expensive they are, Ami looks at their relationship and how well both of them fit together despite not looking like that from an outside point of view. She thinks that everyone will recognize that once they take a closer look, while Sensei thinks that she is insane. She doesn’t deny it but is still happy with how things are.
