Eventually, they stop in front of a dilapidated apartment building, and Chika turns to him, thanking him for accompanying her. Chika explains that she might not be at school for the next few days, and to hand off any assignments to Yumi, assuming she shows up. She asks for a kiss before she has to go, and Sensei must then decide whether or not he wants to. Afterward, he heads home to go to bed.
