Synopsis

Sensei finds himself visiting the shrine again, where Maya reiterates that she has no interest in getting to know him. When he asks why, she says that his "existence is peculiar", and that having too much interaction with him would risk upsetting the life she is content with. Sensei finds her talk about living in different worlds rather strange, but Maya denies being anything other than "an entirely normal teenage girl". Maya asks Sensei whether he really fits in where he is, rather than just seeming to fit in because he has stepped into someone else's life. Sensei realises that he can't remember anything about his real self. Maya eventually sends Sensei away, but is resigned to the fact that he'll be back again soon enough.
